1955 Sunliner Convertible

In 1955, the Fairlane replaced the Crestline as the top model in the Ford lineup. It gained a new body style and a panoramic windshield to keep up with several GM models. Although it remained similar to the 1952 Ford underneath, its upgraded engine options made it a fun car to drive.

1955 Crown Victoria

New for 1955, the Crown Victoria-style featured a chrome “basket handle” across the familiar hardtop roof. The Fairlane Crown Victoria, like the one pictured here, also offered a transparent “skylighted” top as an option.
