Escort RS Cosworth
The Ford Escort was a capable car. Cosworth made it brilliant. This was the first production car to produce downforce in the front, and one of the only production cars to have the wherewithal to use it. Built from 1992-1996, the Escort Cosworth managed an impressive eight rally victories before it was replaced by the Focus WRC in 1999.
Ford RS200
Whenever the words “homologation special” are uttered, car guys get excited. It’s because of things like the RS200. This legendary Group B rally car, built from 1984-1986, produced 444 horses at 8,000 rpm and shot to 60 mph in the two-second range, making it one of the coolest things to ever have four bug-eyes.
